Subsea 7 has been a leading provider of remote intervention services for new field development, life-of-field and exploration and drilling operations to the global oil and gas industry for over three decades. In the early 1980's we were the first contractor to design, build and operate remotely operated vehicles (ROVs). This pioneering approach has been extended to the development of a wide range of world leading intervention systems, tooling applications and interface packages. Today the combination of operational know-how and in-house technical expertise, with a proven track record of delivery and a fleet of over 120 ROVs, makes Subsea 7 the second largest operator of ROVs globally.
ROVs can be deployed from our own vessels or those provided by our clients. Recent project case studies include the Girassol Pipeline Repair System in Angola, BP West of Shetland and Shell in the North Sea.
